Locust Valley Cemetery

Locust Valley Cemetery began with a unique plan over 100 years ago. Rather than the usual rows of marble and granite, the Cemetery's 19th century founders conceived of a sanctuary more like a woodland garden. To realize that vision, they commissioned the Olmsted family, renowned architects of Central Park, to design its grounds.

The Woodlawn Cemetery

Established in 1863, Woodlawn is an an oasis in an urban setting. More than 310,000 individuals are interred on its grounds and it attracts over 100,000 visitors from around the world each year. Recognized as one of America’s most historically significant properties, Woodlawn was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2011

Hollywood Forever Cemetery

Founded in 1899, the national cemetery is one of the world's most historic places, and the final resting place of hundreds of Hollywood legends, including Judy Garland, Cecil B. DeMille, Rudolph Valentino, Mickey Rooney, Tyrone Power, Douglas Fairbanks, Johnny and Dee Dee Ramone, Valerie Harper, Chris Cornell, and hundreds of others. And is also the burial site of thousands of neighborhood residents and individuals from across the globe.

Forest Lawn Memorial Park - Glendale

Our original Forest Lawn location has been a Southern California landmark since 1906. It has a world-renowned art museum, extraordinary statuary, and the Hall of the Crucifixion-Resurrection which is home to two of the largest religious paintings in the Western hemisphere.

Ferncliff Cemetery & Mausoleum

n 1927, we constructed our first mausoleum, Ferncliff Mausoleum (also known as the Cathedral of Memories). This mausoleum has been expanded over the years as space needs increased. In 1933, we began to operate a crematory within the premise of the Ferncliff Mausoleum. We currently perform approximately 10% of all cremations in New York State.

Laurel Hill Cemetery

In late 1835, John Jay Smith, a Quaker and librarian, recorded in his diary: “The City of Philadelphia has been increasing so rapidly of late years that the living population has multiplied beyond the means of accommodation for the dead. A group of proprietors, led by Smith, were able to purchase a former estate known as Laurel Hill in 1836.

Memorial Cemetery of Saint John's Church

The Memorial Cemetery was founded by John Divine Jones in 1862. This cemetery replaced the original cemetery located above the church. The Memorial Cemetery then retained the Olmsted Brother’s firm to design this new cemetery. The Olmsted Brother’s firm continued to work on designing new section of the cemetery up until the 1950’s.

The Green-Wood Cemetery

Founded in 1838 and now a National Historic Landmark, Green-Wood was one of the first rural cemeteries in America. By the early 1860s, it had earned an international reputation for its magnificent beauty and became the prestigious place to be buried, Crowds flocked there to enjoy family outings, carriage rides, and sculpture viewing in the finest of first generation American landscapes. Green-Wood’s popularity helped inspire the creation of public parks, including New York City’s Central and Prospect Parks.
